Progress of application of surgical robot in minimally invasive surgery

Abstract:

Minimally invasive surgery is one of the great achievements of the development of medical science in twentieth century. It has been applied in all of the surgery departments because of its special advantages, such as mini-incision, less trauma, less pain and earlier recovery. The emergency of the surgical robot has made the development of minimally invasive surgery entered into a new chapter. At present, the clinical application of the surgical robot has been extended to the various branches of the surgical field. It greatly expand the traditional laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery, and will be set off another wave of new technological revolution of minimally invasive surgery.
