Treatment of gastric cancer by radical gastrectomy under laparoscope

Abstract:

Objective

To assess the treatment of gastric cancer by radical gastrectomy under laparoscope.

Methods

10 cases of gastric cancer patients were performed radical gastrectomy under laparoscope （D2）.

Results

All the patients with antrum cancer had been performed operation successfully.The average time of operation was 280±50 min； the average quantity of bleeding was 180±40 ml；the average number of lymph nodes resection was 20±5.

Conclusion

Radical gastrectomy under laparoscope in the treatment of gastric cancer is safe and effective.
