Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the effect of peroxisome proliferators-activated receptorγ(PPARγ)on migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cells and its underlying mechanisms.

Methods

Migration of HCC cell line BEL-7402 with the treatment of troglitazone and rosiglitazone was measured by a wound healing assay.PPARγmRNA and protein were assessed by RT-PCR,immunofluorescence chemistry, and Western Blotting analysis, respectively.

Results

Troglitazone and rosiglitazone inhibited the migration of BEL-7402 cells, both medcines activated PPARγsignaling pathway on ligand-dependent effect.

Conclusion

PPARγactivation inhibited the migration of HCC.
