Analysis of serum CA199 level in obstructive bile duct diseases

Abstract:

Objective

To study the diagnosis interpretation of serum CA199 level in obstructive bile duct diseases.

Methods

278 patients of obstructive bile duct diseases had been analyzed the difference of serum CA199 level and clinical diagnosis, and the correlation between serum CA199 level and serum bilirubin level.

Results

The serum CA199 level was higher in cholangiocarcinoma than in pancreatic carcinoma and common bile duct stones(P<0.05),but there were no difference between pancreatic carcinoma and common bile ductstones.SerumCA199 levelwas correlate with serumbilirubin levelin pancreatic carcinoma and common bile ductstones(P<0.01).Conclusion SerumCA199 level has idealvalue in diagnosis of cholangiocarcinomapre-opration.
