Abstract:

Objective

To study the value of delisheng combined with hepatic artery chemoembolization (HACE)and portal vein chemotherapy(PVC)after radical resection in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)for preventing recurrence.

Methods

60 cases of HCC were treated with HACE and PVC after radical resection.30 cases of them accepted delisheng treatment for one week at the same time, the other 30 cases were used as controls.Effect of delisheng combined with HACE and PVC on postoperative recurrent rate was evaluated. Changes of IgG,IgA and IgM in peripheral blood were examined before and after Delisheng treatment.

Results

There was no significant difference in the overall recurrent times in two years between the delisheng combined with HACE and PVC group and control group (15 times vs 13 times,P<0.05).It increased peripheral blood thickness of IgG,IgA and IgM by treat with delisheng. And it might relieve the chemotherapy side effect.

Conclusion

Delisheng treatment combined with HACE and PVA mayimprove body immunity and the living conditions. And it may relieve the chemotherapy side effectby giving medicine through the hepatu artery and portal vein.
