Study on current status and progress in the treatment of differentiated thyroid carcinoma

Abstract

Abstract:

In recent years, the incidence of thyroid cancer has been increased, among which differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) accounted for 90% of all thyroid cancer, while the exact cause is not yet clear. At present, the treatment of DTC includes open surgery, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) inhibition therapy and ¹³¹I treatment. In addition, molecular targeted therapy, radiation therapy, biological therapy and traditional Chinese medicine therapy have been a new approach for the treatment of DTC, increasing the survival rate of DTC. This review aims to analyze the current situation and progress of various types of treatment for DTC for providing reference for the study of thyroid cancer.
