Abstract:

Post thrombosis syndrome (PTS) is a long-term sequelae of deep venous thrombosis (DVT). Even if DVT is given standardized anticoagulant therapy at an early stage, there is still a high incidence of PTS. Deep venous valve injury reflux, increased venous pressure, and blocked venous blood flow are considered to be the main formation mechanisms of PTS. Traditional PTS treatments include anticoagulant therapy, elastic compression socks, exercise therapy, and drug therapy. Percutaneous angioplasty and dedicated venous stents to treat PTS have achieved good results and have been widely accepted clinically. This article reviews the clinical diagnosis and treatment of PTS in order to further guide the clinical treatment.
