Abstract:

The concept of perioperative nutritional support has gradually attracted the attention of surgeons in recent decades, and its clinical practice tends to be systematized and standardized. Studies have shown that reasonable nutritional support can reduce the degree of malnutrition in patients, thus reducing postoperative morbidity, enhancing life quality and improving clinical outcomes. Patients undergoing hepatopancreatobiliary surgery are generally in a complicated condition with significant morbidity and mortality, so perioperative nutritional assessment and support are particularly important. This article reviews the recent studies on the standard clinical practice of perioperative nutritional support in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery to provide theoretical guidance for the clinical promotion and standard practice of nutritional support in this field.

Key words: Nutritional support, Hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, Perioperative period, Standard practice
