Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the clinical effect of laparoscopic assisted mini incision in the treatment of abdominal incisional hernia.

Methods

From January 2017 to January 2019, one hundred patients with abdominal incisional hernia admitted to Nanjing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital were selected and divided into two groups. The control group was treated with open incision hernia repair, and the study group was treated with laparoscopic assisted small incision operation on abdominal wall. The effectiveness results of the two groups were compared.

Results

In the study group, the amount of bleeding was (22.8±4.3) ml, less than (51.7±5.6) ml of the control group; and the time of anal exhaust, getting out of bed and staying in hospital were much shorter, the difference were statistically significant (all P<0.001). The VAS scores of the study group were (5.7±0.6) on the day of operation, and (4.7±0.7), (2.8±0.5), (1.2±0.2) on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day after operation, significantly lower than the control group at the same time point score, the difference was statistically significant (all P<0.001). The incidence of complications in the study group was 4.0% (2/50), which was lower than 22.0% (11/50) in the control group (χ2=7.162, P=0.007).

Conclusion

laparoscopy assisted small incision operation can effectively alleviate the trauma and postoperative pain of patients with abdominal incisional hernia, reduce the risk of complications, thus shorten the length of stay and accelerate the recovery of patients.
