Abstract:

With the development of minimally invasive technology, laparoscopic hepatectomy has become a safe and effective routine surgical treatment, which is more and more in line with the concept of accurate hepatectomy and the development direction of modern medicine. However, compared with the traditional hepatectomy, the limited operating space of instruments and lack of direct tactile feedback are not conducive to accurate localization and radical hepatectomy, which significantly increases the difficulty of laparoscopic hepatectomy. Indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence imaging technology, as a new navigation method, makes up for the deficiency of laparoscopic surgery. It has certain application value in laparoscopic anatomical hepatectomy, local resection of liver tumor, postoperative detection of residual liver and so on. In this paper, the relevant literature is reviewed combined with the author’s experience.

Key words: Indocyanine green, Laparoscopic hepatectomy, Fluorescence imaging
