Progress of perioperative anesthesia management in patients with frailty

Abstract:

With the increasing number of frail patients and the improvement of anesthesia technology and surgical level, the number of frail patients undergoing operation and anesthesia is increasing year by year. Perioperative anesthesia management of frail patients has become the focus of anesthesiology research. In this paper, the research progress of perioperative anesthesia management in patients with frailty, including the related risk factors, preoperative evaluation and selection of anesthesia methods and drugs, is reviewed for clinical reference.
