Results
Among the 39 patients, 17 were male and 22 were female, with age from 21 to 47 years old. 14 had chronic abdominal pain. In 4 cases, abdomen mass could be found, the other 21 cases were asymptomatic and were detected by image diagnosis methods. of the 39 patients, 33 underwent hepatic resection,1 underwent biopsy under laparoscopy,2 underwent biopsy and percutaneous microwave coagulation,3 underwent biopsy and no therapy. Follow-up data showed that no recurrence happened after resection.
Conclusion
FNH is a benign disease with good prognosis. For patients with confirmed diagnosis and no symptom, no specific therapies are needed. Surgical resection is recommended for patient of huge mass accompanied with apparent symptoms, those malignant diseases or liver adenoma can't be fully excluded.
