Abstract:

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a kind of small endogenous non-coding RNA which play an important role in all the organisms. Growing evidences indicated that miRNAs may act as oncogenes or tumor suppressors to involve in the development and progression of tumor. Further study on the identification and mechanisms of miRNAs will bring a great breakthrough in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. There will be good prospects in the clinical application.
