An analysis about 15 cases of iatrogenic injury of pancreas.

Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the early diagnosis and precaution for iatrogenic injury of pancreas.

Methods

The clinical datum of 15 cases with iatrogenic injury of pancreas were analyzed retrospectively.

Results

The pathologic anatomical change and hemorrhage were the main reasons for iatrogenic injury of pancreas, ultrasound and determination of amylase for abdominal effusion made for early diagnosis. Discovery of the injury in operation and combined therapy after operation might improve the recovery rate.

Conclusion

It is crucial to prevent the iatrogenic injury of pancreas. Diagnosed as early as possible and suitable measures are the key point once injuries have taken place.
