Abstract:
Objective
To explore the effect of treatment of endothelin receptor antagonist (ET-RA) on heart injury in severe acute pancreatitis(SAP) rats.
Methods
Thirty SD rats were randomly allocated into 3 groups: SAP group (SAPG): Main pancreatic duct was perfused with Sodium Cholate(5%)to induce SAP;Control group (CG):To do the same as that of SAP group, except with normal saline;ET-RA group (ET-RAG):Rats were treated with intraperitoneal injection of ET-RA after the models of SAP were done for 6 hours, while rats of the other two groups were treated with intraperitoneal injection of normal saline.Serum AML,creatine kinase(CK),CK-MB,lactate dehydrogenase 1(LDH1),ET-1 and TNF-α were measured after the models of SAP were done for 24 h.
Results
The levels of serum AML, CK, CK-MB, LDH1, ET-1 and TNF-α in SAPG and ET-RAG were significantly increased as compared with CG(P<0.01).The levels of all indexes in ET-RAG were decreased than that in SAPG(P<0.05).
Conclusion
ET-RA have certain effect of treatment on heart injury in SAP rats.
