Abstract:
Objective
To evaluate the clinical efficacy and the adverse drug reactions of chronomodulated chemotherapy of irinotecan(CPT-11)combined with 5-fluorouracil(5-FU)and calcium folinate(CF)on colorectal carcinoma patients with hepatic metastasis.
Methods
28 colorectal carcinoma patients with hepatic metastasis were divided into group A and B. group A were employed the chronomodulated chemotherapy of CPT-11 combined with 5-FU and CF procedure, while group B used the CPT-11combined with 5-FU and CF rountinly. The short term efficacy and adverse drug reactions were evaluated according to the standard by WHO.
Results
The higher percentages of clinical efficacy clinical efficacy(CR+PR)was A,78.5%vs B,35.7%and the lower percentages of adverse drug reactions occurred in group A (P<0.05).
Conclusion
Chronomodulated chemotherapy of CPT-11 combined with 5-FU and CF may be more effective and may cause the lower adverse drug reactions on colorectal carcinoma with hepatic metastasis.
