Abstract:

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy is commonly used to treat middle staged tumors in recent years, reducing the volume of tumor and killing metastasis cancer cells, and providing the basis for local treatment of tumor. Cell autophagy is one of the ways of programmed cell death, playing an important role in maintaining normal cellular metabolic activities. Autophagy exists in cancer cells, and it is still controversial of the effects of promotion or inhibition on tumor cells. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy has an influence on autophagy level in tumor cells, and the difference of autophagy related protein expression can be used to evaluate the sensitivity and efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and it is helpful for the indication and drug selection of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Key words: Autophagy, Chemotherapy, adjuvant, Tumor cell
