Abstract:

In recent years, the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) has been popularized and applied more rapidly in many countries. Acute appendicitis is a common disease in general surgery, while laparoscopic appendectomy (LA) has become the preferred treatment. The perioperative pain management of LA under the concept of ERAS can achieve good analgesic effects through standardized procedures such as preoperative education, good preoperative and postoperative pain assessment, and personalized analgesia plans, so as to promote rapid recovery of patients, which fits the development model of ambulatory surgery and maximizes the utilization of medical resources. Therefore, this article summarizes the application of perioperative pain management under the concept of ERAS in ambulatory LA , in order to provide reference for optimizing the perioperative pain management process of LA and the implementation of ambulatory LA.
