Abstract:

Nutritional risk is common in patients with gastric cancer after surgery. In recent years, more attention has been paid to nutritional support therapy for this kind of population, but the effect is not satisfactory. The wide application of oral nutrition supplement (ONS) in cancer patients has shown a good prospect, but there is still lack of sufficient evidence to support its application for postoperative gastric cancer patients. The author reviewed the current situation of malnutrition and the application of ONS in postoperative patients with gastric cancer by consulting the relevant literature in past ten years, in order to provide reference for short-term nutritional support strategy formulation and out-of-hospital rehabilitation.
